‘소나기’는 예고 없이 찾아와 사람들을 흠뻑 적시고 그칩니다.
언제 그랬냐는 듯 햇빛이 하늘을 채웁니다.
황순원 작가의 ‘소나기’ 이후 소나기는 청춘 남녀의 사랑을 대변하는 명사가 되었습니다.
준하와 주희가 나룻배를 타고 귀신의 집에 갔을 때도 클래식하게 소나기가 내립니다.
때마침 나룻배도 떠내려가 둘은 오도 가도 못하는 신세가 됩니다.
서로 사랑을 느끼고 있는 두 청춘에겐 고마운 상황입니다.

매점에서 상민의 우산을 발견한 지혜가 상민의 우산을 들고 빗속을 달려갑니다.
수경을 대신해 연애편지를 대신 써 주던 지혜는 그 편지에 자신의 마음을 담아 전해 왔었습니다.
지혜는 적극적인 친구와는 달리 상민에게 호감이 가는 스스로의 마음을 누르고 정리하려고 노력했습니다.
지혜는 상민이가 놓고 간 우산의 사연을 매점 언니를 통해 전해 듣고 상민의 마음을 알게 됩니다.
혼자만의 짝사랑이 아니었고 상민이도 지혜를 처음부터 좋아하고 있었습니다.
지혜는 거침없이 내리는 비를 두 팔을 활짝 벌려 맞으면서 상민을 향해 뛰어갑니다.
고이 간직하려 했던 감정을 전하려는 지혜의 발걸음을 이번에도 소나기가 따라갑니다.
옛날 부모님의 추억과 함께했던 그때처럼.
‘클래식’에 대한 소감
‘클래식’ 의 제목처럼 이 영화는 사랑 영화의 장면들을 잘 배열하고 사랑에 빠진 주인공들의 뻔한 감정선을 자연스럽게 녹여낸 작품입니다.
어디선가 많이 본 듯한 장면임에도 화면에 몰입하게 만드는 구성력이 좋았습니다.
인물들 간의 갈등이 큰 대립을 불러오지 않으면서도 먹먹한 감정을 만드는 이야기 전개도 돋보였습니다.
대개 고전은 한 번 봤을 때는 ‘괜찮네’ 정도이다 한 번 더 보면 ‘이런 내용이 있었나?’ 싶은 발견을 하게 만듭니다.
사랑이 아픈 건 나의 뜻대로 내 마음을 움직일 수 없고 거기에 더해 주변의 상황까지 방해 요소가 많을 때입니다.
‘클래식’의 주인공들 또한 그런 상황에 놓였고 그 과정을 겪어낸 후 결실을 맺어서 박수를 보내게 됩니다.
작은 반딧불의 영롱한 불빛처럼 아름답고 감동적인 영화였습니다.
다시 보면 어떤 새로운 장면이 눈에 들어올지 궁금합니다.

Jun-ha and Joo-hee are at a haunted house when they encounter a rain shower.
The showers come without warning, drenching them, and then stop.
As if on cue, sunlight fills the sky.
Since Hwang Soon-won's “Showers,” showers have become a nouns that represents the love of young men and women.
When Junha and Juhui rode the ferry to the haunted house, a classic downpour set the scene.
Just then, the ferry drifts away, leaving the two stranded with no way to go back or forward.
Thank goodness for the two young people who are in love with each other.
“Classic” scene 2
His friend was secretly in love with his fiancée.
Normally, even if you weren't that interested in your fiancée, you'd feel like you had to punish your friend.
The idea of someone else coveting something that belongs to you is not a pleasant one.
Unlike his strict and stubborn father, Jericho pure Tae-soo supports his friend Jun-ha and his fiancée Joo-hee's love.
Tae-soo's father's punishment drives Tae-soo to attempt suicide.
After witnessing his friend hanging himself, Jun-ha tries to sort out his feelings for Joo-hee.
Despite this, Tae-soo doesn't marry Joo-hee until Joon-ha returns from the Vietnam War.

“Classic” scene 3
Ji-hye, having found Sang-min's umbrella at the store, grabs it and runs through the rain.
Ji-hye, who had been writing love letters on Su-kyeong’s behalf, infused them with her own feelings.
Unlike her active friend, Ji-hye tried to suppress and organize her feelings for Sang-min.
She learned about Sang-min's feelings for her when she heard the story of the umbrella he left behind from her canteen sister.
It wasn't just a crush, Sang-min had a crush on Ji-hye from the beginning.
Ji-yeon runs toward Sang-min, embracing the rain with her arms wide open.
The showers follow her steps as she tries to convey the feelings she's been trying to keep hidden.
Just like the old days with their parents' memories.
Impressions on the 'Classic'
Just like its title, The Classic is a film that beautifully arranges scenes of romance and naturally weaves in the predictable yet heartfelt emotions of its love-struck protagonists.
Even though the scenes look like they've been seen many times before, it was well organized and made me immersed in the movie.
The storyline also stood out because the conflicts between the characters created emotional tension without creating a major confrontation.
Usually, when you watch a classic, you're like, “It's okay,” and then you watch it a second time and realize, “I didn't know that was there?
Love becomes painful when I can't control my own heart as I wish, and even more so when external circumstances create additional obstacles.
The protagonists of The Classic also found themselves in such situations, and after enduring the journey, they finally reached their destined love, earning our applause.
It was a beautiful and moving movie, like the glow of a tiny firefly.
I wonder what new scenes will catch my eye when I watch it again.
